Jai Dillon has been playing music since he was 5 years old. Jai Dillon started on organ and moved to bass and guitar in his teens. Jai Dillon attended Musicians Institute in Los Angeles in 1992 and 1993 and ended up staying in L.A. for 6 more years where he cut his teeth with some of the best musicians and producers in the business.
He toured with The English Beat and General Public, and recorded with the likes of Marlon McClain, and hit makers like Foster and McKilroy (producers of En Vogue) and Stephen Brae (producer Madonna).
Most recently Jai Dillon played with notable artists such as platinum selling artist Tom Cochrane, Grammy nominated Latin artist Christian Castro,and Grammy award winning R&B act Mary Mary,and in 2010/2011 toured with multi-Grammy award winning artist Jason Mraz, appearing on the musician’s 2010 live EP “Life is Good.”
Jai Dillon has been living in Austin Texas for the past decade and has been a fixture in many of Austin’s best bands, playing either guitar or bass guitar.
